Air Classifiers
The classification efficiency (extraction rate) ranges from 60% to 80%, depending on the flowability of the material. It features a horizontal classifying turbine device with high rotational speed and precise vertex cutting. This equipment can be used in conjunction with ball mills, vibration mills, Raymond mills, and other crushing equipment to form a closed-circuit cycle. The control system adopts PLC automatic control which provides real-time display of operating status and ensures simple operation. The system operates under negative pressure to ensure dust emissions do not exceed 40mg/m3; additionally, sound insulation measures have been implemented to keep noise levels below 75dB(A).
The air classifier system consists of air flow classifier, cyclone separator, dust collector, induced draft fan and electric control cabinet. The material with the airflow from the classifier lower inlet high-speed movement to the classification chamber, in the high-speed rotation of the centrifugal force generated by the classification wheel and the centripetal force generated by the airflow, to achieve the effective separation of coarse and fine particles. Fine particles that meet the requirements of particle size enter the cyclone separator and dust collector through the gap between the blades of the classifier wheel for centralized collection, while part of the fine particles entrapped in the coarse particles are thrown out and fall to the bottom of the classifier. In addition, the natural gas forms a uniform vortex after rectification in the inflow chamber and further removes the fine particles mixed with or attached to the coarse particles thoroughly. Finally, the completely sorted coarse particles are discharged from the bottom through a rotary valve. In order to control the speed of the sorting rotation, a frequency converter is used for regulation.
The air classifier is suitable for the fine classification of dry products of micron size and can classify spherical, flaky and acicular particles and is capable of classifying particles of different densities. The particle size range of the graded products can reach D97: 2 to 45 microns, and it has the ability of stepless adjustment, which is convenient for variety replacement.
