it can fall into the collection container.
2. Bag filters: In some jet mills, the crushed material is collected through bag filters. These filters are usually made of fine cloth or special materials capable of capturing minute particles.
3. Dust collectors: For some comminution processes that require higher purity or specific environmental conditions, dust collectors may be used to collect the comminuted material. Dust collectors are effective in
removing fine particles from the air stream.
4. Collection Tanks or Containers: For some types of jet mills, the pulverized material falls directly into collection tanks or containers below. These containers can be fixed or removable for ease of operation and cleaning.
5. motorized discharge valves, pneumatic butterfly valves or manual butterfly valves: these valves can be installed at the discharge port of the jet mill as required to control the discharge and collection of material.
6. inert gas circulation system: for flammable and explosive or oxygen-sensitive materials, inert gas can be used as a medium for pulverizing and circulated through a closed-circuit system to reduce the material's contact with air.
Different jet mills and different applications may require different collection methods. For example, where a high purity product is required, a more sophisticated collection system may be needed to avoid contamination. Whereas,
for applications requiring only basic pulverizing functions, a simple collection vessel may be sufficient. When selecting a pulverizer, it is important to consider the characteristics of the material and the collection efficiency required.
